Q.お店をオープンしたのはいつですか？また、きっかけは何ですか？
When and why did you start your store?
私たちが正式にブティックビジネスを始める計画を立てたのは、ポートランドへ向かう電車の中で、2017 年 11 月のことです。
そして私たちの実店舗がオープンしたのは 2018 年 5 月 10 日で、その年の母の日でした。
お店を持つ前、私たちは日本やヨーロッパを頻繁に旅行していました。
ライフスタイルストアで見つけたオブジェのコレクションや、丁寧に仕立てられたファッションアイテムを通じて見つけた幸せな一時が、私たちの日々の楽しみをお客様と共有できるお店を持ちたいと思うきっかけになりました。
We officially "planned" to start our boutique business back to November 2017 on our train to Portland. Our brick-and mortar store opened on May 10th 2018, which fell on that year's Mother's Day.
Before we sketched our plan to have a store, three of us were frequent travelers to Japan and Europe. The moments when we found happiness through curated collections of objects and slow fashion from life-style stores inspired and encouraged us to own a store sharing with customers what we are enjoying in daily lives.

How did you get to know fog linen work?
fog とはかなり早い段階からお取引をしています。
一番最初に買ったのはティータオルでした。
東京に行くときはいつも、世田谷のフォグリネンショップに足を運んでいます。
We were long-term customers back to every early stage of fog linen work business. The very first items we bought were tea towels. We paid visits to fog linen store at Setagaya almost every time when we visited Tokyo.

How do you describe your store and what are you carrying?
良いデザインと確かな品質にこだわったハウスウェア、オブジェ、ファッションコレクションを集めたセレクトショップです。
テーブルウェア、グラス、アパレル、バッグ、アクセサリーなどを取り扱っています。
We are a boutique store with curated houseware objects and fashion collections focusing on good designs and reliable quality.We are carrying tableware, glassware, apparel, bags and accessories.
Q.Fogのお気に入りの商品はなんですか？どういうところが好きですか？
What is your favorite fog linen item? Why do you like it?
お気に入りのアイテムは、ベッドシーツです。布団カバーと、シーツ 2 枚を使っています。
年月が経つにつれて、どんどん柔らかくなっているんですよ。
綿の生地よりも耐久性があり、丈夫です。
My favorite linen item is the bedding sheet. I have duvet cover, 2 bedding sheets. They are getting softer and softer with years going by. More durable than cotton fabric and they are durable.

店内に居心地の良いカフェがある「メゾン キツネ」です。
新鮮で美味しいサンドイッチやヘルシーなサラダがおすすめです。
I would say it is "Maison Kitsune" which has a cozy in-store cafe. They are carrying fresh and tasteful sandwiches and healthy salad.
