TPL - Stationery
Q：お店はいつ、どのようにオープンしたんですか？
When and how did you start your store?
A：オーストラリア旅行を終えて台湾に戻った 2016 年ごろから始めました。
お店を開く前は、私はティーショップで働くデザイナー、夫は文房具の仕事をしていました。
そして、2 人の専門性と趣味を組み合わせて、ステーショナリ―ショップを原点とした「TPL - Stationery」を作りました。
We started around 2016 when we returned to Taiwan after our trip to Australia.
Before opening the store, I was a designer working in a tea shop, and my husband was in the stationery business; we combined two people's professions and interests in the store and created the "TPL - Stationery" which is a stationery store as the starting point.
Q：fog linen workを知ったきっかけは？
How did you get to know fog linen work?
A：きっかけはとてもシンプルです。ハサミに惹かれたんです。
真鍮の手づくり感あふれる文房具が目の前に現れたとき、私たちはとても興味を持ちました。
そして、fog linen work を知ることになったんです。
Very simple, we are attracted by a pair of scissors.
When a piece of stationery made of brass and full of handmade feeling appeared in front of us, it aroused our great interest, and thus let us know fog linen work.
Q：あなたのお店はどのような感じですか？取り扱っている商品についても教えてください。
How do you describe your store and what are you carrying?
A：店名にあるように、ティールーム、文具、生活、空間が一体となったスペースです。
文房具や生活用品など取り扱う商品は、そのブランドの歴史や原点を重視して選んでいます。
また、ブランド発祥の地で、時代のスタイルを残す形や、手作りの不器用な感じなどを残しながら商品を作るという精神を貫くことは、とてもすばらしいことだと感じています。
それは、製品そのものの価値を高めることだと思います。
そんな訳で fog linen work の製品のほとんどが、原料からその国で生産されていることを知ったときは、とても感激しました。
なぜなら、これこそが私たちが求めていたものであり、人々と共有したい精神だからです。
私たちは、世界中のエレガントでクラシックな商品を店内に並べることを心掛けていて、お店に訪ねてきてくださったすべてのお客様が、私たちのセレクトした商品を通して世界中を旅する機会を持って頂けるよう願っています。
Just like the name of the store, our space combines tea products, stationery, life, and space. For the selection of most stationery and life props, we will prioritize the brand's history and origin.
In a modern society with advanced technology, it is quite respectable to insist on the spirit of making brand products in the place where the brand originated, especially the shape that retains the style of the times, or the clumsy feeling of handmade...etc. It endows the temperature and value of the product itself. Because of this, we were very excited when we found that most of the fog linen work products come from the countries where the raw materials are produced! Because this is the product and spirit that we have been looking for and want to share with people.
We strive to display the world's elegant and classic selections in the store and hope that every guest who visits will have the opportunity to travel around the world through our selections.
